Here is my one and only Insted record. I've been waiting to get my hands on "Bonds of Friendship" but I always seem to miss out. When it comes up on ebay I've seen them go for dirt cheap and I forget to bid, and when I remember to watch the auction right until the end it goes for some silly amount. I scored this one for a pretty fair price a few months back in a multi auction haul. Excuse me for my ignorance because I know very little about Insted vinyl, but according to discogs this is a first press copy with the yellow lettering on top and out of /300 on yellow vinyl. I've had Insted's "Proud Youth" Collection CD for years now and I've always loved it, so I have no explanation why I don't own more Insted vinyl. It's something I will have to remedy.

ReplyDeleteInsted have always been a favorite of mine but I've never really sought out there records to much.. I have 2 versions of this 7" red letters red vinyl and yellow letters black vinyl.. i think it might be time for me to seek out this version and the black cover version..
ReplyDeleteGreat record. I own two copies...both on black vinyl. I've been meaning to pick up the colored vinyl for years, but I always pass it by, and grab something else instead. I'll need to fill this hole sooner or later!
