Noose - The Moral Law

Over the last year, I have grown a huge soft spot for Noose. Militant Vegan Straight Edge and hard as nails. Why do opposites attract? These guys would probably hate me if they met me, because I will fuck up some meat and some alcohol. However, there are some things that we can agree on. I absolutely LOVE the lyrics to "Indefinite Detention". Myself and Noose can both agree on some things... This pink copy was the most limited and the proceeds went to some sort of charity. The pink looks great and is out of /150.

Green was the next most limited color out of /350, and not looking to shabby either. Great color scheme React. There was also a black press out of /500, but I'm assuming that React has a mystery press (as they always do) that they gave to the band. Time will tell what that is.

VEGAN HELL WARRIORS - It's NOOSE!

I'm exhausted, and now I'm broke. I had all kinds of records come in the last week, and I pretty much broke the bank with a big Grave Mistake order, but what the hell. So I was also really behind on taking pictures and alphabetizing and typing up all the records, their names, colors and pressing info into my little database that I got going on (am I the only nerd doing this?). That's what I did today.... for the past 6 freaking hours. I also took 250 new pictures, sweet. Now it's time to relax, so I got some people coming over for a BBQ tonight, and I figured I would post this awesome new Noose record I got. These guys would probably be disgusted to know that this record will be spinning at a BBQ with tons of meat and alcohol... But relax guys I'll be offering sodas and vegetables as well. Ok that's all for now, hopefully now that I have new pictures I will be able to update this more. Stay tuned for a gang of new posts.

Some recent React! pick ups, here is NOOSE, a vegan straight edge band from Chicago. I cannot lie, this is one of those records that I went off with strictly because of the album art. I figured sick album art, they are on React!, it is at least worthy to add to my collection for those two reasons alone. I was not very happy to say the least to see the "It's Your Time" jacket all bent to hell on the bottom corner, but fuck man, I am really glad I picked these up! I'll probably have to add some other colors later on. Really fast, angry and aggressive as all hell. Both came with a similar layout, plain white back with the lyrics. Also each record just has the band name on songs on A side and then a live picture on the back (kind of reminds me of all the recent GIVE records). All the recordings are noisy and distorted as fuck and sound like they were recorded on a shitty 4 track, but it adds to the intensity and rawness. Whatever this band is doing, I hope they keep it all the same for their next releases. Definitely check this out.
